The mens volleyball team Mladost Marina Kastela won its first ever international medal. It won third place in the Central European League, making this one of the biggest successes for Croatian men’s volleyball and for Kastela sports in history.
After being defeated by ACH Bled (Slovenia), our boys won the match for the third place against Posojilnica Aich/Dob (Austria), by a score of 3:2. After losing 4 games to Aich/Dob in the regular season and European Challange cup, Mladost Marina Kastela was finally able to get its revenge in the most important game of all.
ACH Bled Team for the fourth time became champion after beating the home team Hypo Tirol 3:0 in sets.
